In addition, Grupo Conservas Garavilla has joined the AECOC project for the reduction of food waste in Spain, given that a commitment has been adopted within Spain to reduce waste and put excess food to good use, alongside a hundred other businesses and associations related to the food sector and led by AECOC.
In virtue of this agreement, the signatory companies commit to implementing a set of good practices to reduce food waste.
